Blackberries, toasted spice, smoked earth and licorice notes all flow to a rich, powerful, concentrated Rasteau that has ripe, present tannins and a great finish. It’s certainly going to be an outstanding wine. A blend of 50% Grenache and 25% each of Mourvèdre and Syrah, brought up in demi-muids, it’s medium to full-bodied and nicely textured, with beautiful purity and a distinct sense of elegance paired with richness.
