JD9393 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - May 6, 2021 A blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% each of Merlot and Syrah that spent 20 months in 55% new barrels, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers lots of spiced red and black fruits as well as notes of iron, toasted spice, and sandalwood. Nicely textured and medium-bodied, with both fruit and richness as well as a good sense of elegance, it’s ideal for drinking any time over the coming 10–15 years. As Cabernet Sauvignon goes, you’d pay three times the price for the quality if it was from Napa. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN90+90+ pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020 Full dark ruby. Inky, brooding aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, licorice, menthol, black pepper and tree bark; shows more of a green edge than Drew Bledsoe’s Doubleback wines. Very concentrated, dark and deep, with inky yet surprisingly suave flavors of black fruits, spices, licorice and bitter chocolate. Not a particularly herbal style of Cabernet, ultimately. Finishes with serious dusty tannins and lingering notes of bitter chocolate and black pepper. A bit folded in on itself and tannic in the early going, showing limited sweetness today, but built to age. And very Cabernet Sauvignon! Incidentally, this wine was previously called Flying B Cabernet Sauvignon.
JD9494 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 7/9/2022 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 11% Malbec, and the rest Cabernet Franc that’s from a mix of sites outside of Walla Walla. Aged 22 months in 57% new French oak, its deep purple hue is followed by a great nose of ripe cassis, graphite, spring flowers, and spicy oak. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully balanced with ripe tannins, this is a terrific Cabernet readers will love. It will benefit from just a few years in the cellar and keep for 15–20 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Oct 2022 Dark magenta in the glass, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is broad and generously layered with a dense core of dark red and black fruit essences. Full-bodied, the wine is juicy yet firm with fine-grained tannins that grip the gumline before lingering long over the spicy, focused finish. It’s a broad-shouldered wine that will drink better with additional time in the bottle. The wine rested for 18 months in barrel, 50% new French oak, and will please Napa Cabernet drinkers. Only 2,000 cases were produced. (Anthony Mueller)VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2023 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark and rich in the glass, with a deeply alluring mix of blueberry and cherry sauce complemented by hints of mocha and tobacco leaf. While ripe in style and fruit-centric, this boasts a core of stimulating acidity and minerals that balances out the style beautifully, as exotic inner florals cascade throughout. The 2019 leaves a web of sweet tannins to linger while finishing remarkably fresh, as echoes of violet pastille and spiced citrus fade. This is a wonderfully balanced blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 11% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Franc, where each variety really adds to the final result. Well done. (Eric Guido)
VN9595 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 The dazzling 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning blend of nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon with 6% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aged in 70% new French oak for 22 months before bottling, it exudes class on the nose, where tobacco leaf and mocha tones combine with green bell pepper and blackberry compote. The palate is already beautifully evolved, displaying a silky texture, ripe dark fruits and an appealing sense of salinity from the Rocks District fruit, and finishing exceedingly long. This is the elegant side of Doubleback and has some beautiful aging potential.RP94+94+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Oct 2022 Marking the first vintage where they used a full-time vineyard crew, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a generous, juicy frame on the nose with aromas of blackberry, resinous purple flowers and elegant tones. Full-bodied, the mouthfeel is beautifully balanced with impressive weight without being bogged down by a hedonistic alcohol expression. It glides to a gracious and harmonious finish that commands attention. Bravo, this is fantastic juice! (Anthony Mueller)
RP9696 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 11th May 2023 Made with 6% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a rich, lively, expressive nose of black raspberry, oak and red florals that sway with sweet herbs and elegant baking spices. Full-bodied, fresh and still tannic, the wine will take a couple more years to come around but will be a juggernaut once it picks up momentum. After spending almost two years in 87% new French oak barrels, it will need some time, so be patient. (Anthony Mueller)JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, May 24, 2023 Notes of currants and blueberries with violets, toasted walnuts and crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and crunchy with ripe tannins and a lingering, blue-fruited finish. Drink now. (James Suckling)
VN9696 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 The 2019 Estate Reserve is an intense blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon with 25% Petit Verdot and 3% Merlot, crafted by the talented Josh McDaniels. Needing a two-hour decant to be fully expressive, it reveals deep tar tones on the nose, alongside shades of blackberry cordial and crème de violette. Full-bodied and well-structured, with serious weight and finesse, it’s already showing well following some air. Enjoy this beauty over the next 20 years.
RP9898 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 11th May 2023 The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve bursts with an impressive nose and was made with the addition of 10% Petit Verdot and 3% Merlot. There are healthy and seductive aromas on the nose along with succulent black plum, spiced cherry compote and blackberry skin before elegant brown baking spices lift out of the glass with resinous red and purple flowers. Full-bodied, big and juicy, with plenty of oak, the palate offers a fine mineral tension, harmoniously balanced fine-grained tannins and succulent acidity. The wine continues to somersault and uncoil across the bold, long-lingering and generous finish that leaves behind a firm tannic edge. Give this at least two more years in the bottle before opening, but I suspect it will be better with three. Bravo! (Anthony Mueller)JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Sunday, June 4, 2023 Notes of plums and blueberries with violets, lilac and dark chocolate. Juicy and fruit-forward with crunchy tannins and a vivid, blue-fruited finish. Hints of spices and cocoa to close. Drink now. (James Suckling)
JD9898 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - April 11, 2019 Winemaker Chris Figgins has produced one of the wines of the vintage and his 2016 Estate Red Wine checks in as a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot that spent 23 months in 50% new French oak. It offers a deep ruby/purple color as well as a killer bouquet of crème de cassis, toasted spice, tobacco, and earth. Incredibly pure, full-bodied, and layered on the palate, it’s a magical wine that has no hard edges, building tannins, and a gorgeous finish. It’s the finest wine under this label to date. (Jeb Dunnuck)RP9494 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2019 A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the 2016 Estate Red Wine opens with a dense core of bold and juicy dark fruit aromas that overflow into the blueberry spectrum with mocha nuances. Full-bodied, the palate is chewy and has good mineral tension, giving way to elegant, balanced oak flavors and a tannic edge that is still rigid but will last for decades to come. The freshness and liveliness of the wine remain focused, and the wine lingers with a long, contemplative finish. With a 2,000 case production, this is one that is worth adding to your cellar.VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2019 Bright ruby-red. Black raspberry, cassis and sexy oak spices are lifted by a violet note on the nose. Densely packed but quite tight-grained, offering high-pitched flavors of currant, black raspberry, cocoa powder and spices. Terrific depth of flavor here as well as outstanding length. With its perfectly managed tannins, this wine really resounds and rises on the aftertaste. This may be the most approachable vintage upon release of this bottling to date but it’s clearly built for a long evolution in the cellar. Incidentally, Chris Figgins does not do any post-fermentation maceration for the FIGGINS wines but he does do some for the Leonetti Cellar Merlot.WE9494 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 10/1/2019 In this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot, the aromas are all about dark fruit, flower and spice, with notes of anise, blackberry jam, soil and black cherry as well as a generous pinch of spice following. Luscious, full and highly structured fruit flavors follow. The impressive acidity maintains balance. Its best years are far ahead of it. Open after 2025; it will have an easy decade or more of excellent drinking beyond that.
JD97+97+ pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021 The 2018 Red Wine is another stunner from this talented team. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot aged 23 months in a mix of new and used barrels, it has an incredibly pure bouquet of both red and blue fruits as well as graphite, violets, and blood orange. Playing in the medium to full-bodied end of the spectrum, it stays tight and focused on the palate, with a beautiful mouthfeel, ripe yet firm, chalky tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great, great finish. It’s a gorgeous wine that will benefit from 3–5 years of bottle age and cruise for 15–20+ in cold cellars. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN9797 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 The 2018 Red Wine Estate might just be the best edition ever of this incredible high-elevation bottling. It’s nothing short of a blending masterpiece by Chris Figgins and his winemaking team. This thing is massive monster of a wine that really needs several hours of air to get going. But once tamed, the aromatics explode out of the glass, unveiling dark currants, roasted figs, black rose petals and creosote tones with shades of green bell pepper from the Petit Verdot. The palate is soft and opulent in the mouth. Layers of crème de cassis, anise, violets, dark cherry cordial, graphite and espresso bean with green bell pepper undertones all brilliantly combine with a vibrant sense of tension, and firm tannins hold everything in place. While this is extraordinary to savor upon release, try your best to resist it for at least a few more years.WE9595 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2021 Aromas of macerated cherry, coffee, flower, licorice and date lead to cherry, cranberry and raspberry flavors that give a full impression on the palate. There’s plenty of precision and detail to be had, so much acidity and a quite firm tannic structure. A big, burly, beautiful wine, it will last and drink well as long as you care to keep it. Don’t go near it now. Best after 2032.JS9595 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, July 12, 2021 Blackcurrant, blackberry, walnut and mint chocolate on the nose, as well as hints of radish and mocha. It’s full-bodied with firm, ripe tannins. Concentrated and chewy with a dense core of black fruit. Solid and tight. Cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot and merlot. Give this time. Try from 2024.RP9494 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Jul 2021 Immediately impressive in the glass, the 2018 Estate Red Wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot with aromas of juicy and ripe blackberry, spiced black cherry preserves, elegant floral tones and elements of boysenberry and blueberry with a soft amount of volatility. Full-bodied, generous and full of flavor, the blend displays power and finesse, unpacking layers of complexity with a tight tannic grip that will loosen with additional bottle age. The wine somersaults to a spectacular finish with a firm, juicy and dusty sensation that gives pleasure at every turn. The wine rested for for 23 months in new and used French oak barrels. Just give it another few years in the bottle for the wine to shed its baby fat. Just under 19,000 bottles were filled. Impressive; Bravo!SP9494 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2022 A dynamic and refined red, with detailed blackberry, green olive and spicy espresso flavors that build tension and polish on the long finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2030. 1,562 cases made.
JD9797 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021 The finest vintage here since the 2015, the 2018 Syrah John Lewis boasts a deeper ruby/purple hue to go with thrilling notes of violets, tapenade, lavender, and peppered meats, all supported by a gorgeous core of ripe darker fruits. Medium to full-bodied, flawlessly balanced, and with building structure, this sensational Washington State Syrah will benefit from 2–4 years in the cellar and keep for two decades. (Jeb Dunnuck)RP9595 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 8th Jul 2021 Devastatingly gorgeous and refined, the 2018 Syrah John Lewis was made with 100% whole clusters. The nose gives up a stunning array of aromas with precision and finesse, brilliantly displaying dusty black raspberry, juicy currant and cassis with a kiss of oak to frame the picturesque fruit. Medium-bodied and with 13% alcohol, the palate offers immense pleasure with a regal mouthfeel, mineral tension, just-ripe red fruit tones and a soft tannic edge. The succulent acidity keeps the wine fresh in the mouth with a food-friendly expression across the elongated and evolving finish. The wine rested for 17 months in 7% new French oak puncheons. This bottling is clearly one of the great Syrahs coming from the Walla Walla Valley; if you are not familiar with this wine, you should absolutely check it out. Honestly, I just want to keep smelling my glass. Bravo! Only 2,400 bottles were filled.WS9494 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 02/22 As in most years, John Lewis is built for the future, packed with aromatic and structural elements that take days to unfurl. This 2018 is a brooding wine for now, all clove and sweet cassis, mocha and olive, with flavors moving forward as the wine opens. By day three the wine takes on a polished texture that feels natural and elegant. For the cellar.VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020 Medium-deep red. Deeper-pitched aromas of raspberry, smoked meat and brown spices lifted by a floral element. Supple, fine-grained, spicy and nicely delineated; the best of these Syrahs in concentration, inner-mouth energy and grip, and a bit sweeter than the rest. Again, the tannins are wonderfully suave, but this wine also possesses more supporting material and ripeness. The very subtle, building finish shows terrific energy and grip, with the tannins spreading out horizontally to saturate the palate and teeth. A classic Gramercy Cellars Syrah.WE9393 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 4/1/2022 Since its inception, John Lewis has been designated for the winery’s best Syrah, with an eye toward long-term ageablity (as well as pairing with food). This is a wine for the future. Aromas of raspberry, flower, smoked meat and herb lead to fresh, acid-driven flavors. The tannins give a firm squeeze. It’s largely about structure right now, but what lies underneath is beautiful. Pair it with roasted pork loin. Best after 2028, with a long life beyond that.
JD100100 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - April 11, 2019 From a vineyard planted in 2013, the 2016 Syrah High Contrast saw loads of stems and mostly neutral barrels. This thrilling wine has a Chave Hermitage-like purity and class as well as gorgeous notes of cassis, black raspberries, smoked earth, and graphite. It’s deep, pure and layered, incredibly layered, pure, and long, with a finish that won’t quit. This isn’t for those looking for an inky, massive wine, but it’s pure class, complete, amazingly long, and elegant. Give bottles a few years in the cellar and it’s going to shine for 15–20 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)RP9696 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Dec 2019 The 2016 Syrah High Contrast Vineyard initially wafts from the glass with a rocky dustiness, then reveals an elegant black and red-fruited core of aromas, oozing with seductively bright and focused black raspberry notes, followed by red and purple flowers, a line of stemminess and dried herbs de Provence on the lifted and aromatically complex nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is ethereal at first, then compounds in the mouth with a mineral tension, the fruit turning a touch tarter across the mid-palate, showing incredible precision and balance. The wine continues to evolve with a fantastic expression and long, drawn-out finish for this young vineyard that was just planted in 2013. Only 335 cases were produced. If you can afford it and you can find it, buy it!VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2019 Fresh dark red. Complex scents of dark raspberry, boysenberry, musky herbs, dark chocolate, brown sugar and flinty minerality. Quite dense, thick and deep, particularly for very young vines, conveying a strong saline character to its flavors of black raspberry, cherry liqueur and minerals. This large-scaled, mouthfilling wine finishes ripely tannic and long, with a late note of chocolate-covered cherry. Ultimately a bit salty for my taste (the pH is a very high 4.1) but there’s plenty of fruit too. Incidentally, Christophe Baron bought a total of 18 acres with his general manager Trevor Dorland. While all of the acreage technically lies within The Rocks, only half of it features the round stones typical of this district, according to Dorland.
JD97+97+ pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021 Last of the Syrahs, the 2018 Syrah High Contrast Vineyard reveals a deep ruby/purple color as well as a wonderfully complex, classic Syrah nose of red and black fruits, cured meats, mushrooms, bacon fat, iron, and forest floor, with a touch of flowers emerging with time in the glass. With its medium to full-bodied richness, firm, focusing tannins, and great finish, it’s another wine that takes savoriness to the nth degree. I love its texture, and there’s almost a Burgundian style here that keeps you coming back to the glass. Hide bottles for 4–5 years and enjoy over the following two decades. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Sep 2021 Bright ruby-red, the darkest of these Horsepower bottlings. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, menthol, bitter chocolate, crushed rock, violet and licorice are more Hermitage than Côte-Rôtie. At once dense and lively, conveying more energy and black fruit intensity than the Sur Echalas Syrah. Boasts lovely inner-mouth verve and definition for such a rich wine, and a captivating balance of sweetness and acidity. Also purer and sweeter than the Sur Echalas, with more subtle salty and balsamic tones. Finishes firmly tannic, ripe and very long, with complicating hints of violet and black olive. I particularly like this wine’s balance of acidity and sweetness. It has the spine to evolve positively in bottle but its subtle sweetness gives it early appeal. Incidentally, the Horsepower wines are fermented in concrete tanks and aged in neutral demi-muids and foudres, with this bottling getting some second-fill demi-muids.
WE9696 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 2/1/2017 This is a unicorn wine that only gets made in exceptional years—the last time was a decade ago. Hailing from Morrison Lane, the oldest Syrah plantings in the valley, it brings mesmerizing aromas of blackberry, black fruit, moist earth and wet stone. The black-fruit flavors consume the palate, showing density, depth and exceptional length. It’s a complete heart-stopper.RP95+95–97 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 28th Jun 2015 Still in barrel at the time of this tasting, the 2012 Syrah The Hustler is a blockbuster-styled Syrah that’s overflowing with notions of sweet red and black fruits, toasted bread, cured meats and cedar. Only made in special vintages (it was previously made in ’03, ’07 and ’09) and aged 38 months in French oak, it’s full-bodied, decadent and layered, with a weightless, elegant, seamless feel. Coming all from the Morrison Lane Vineyard (it’s actually the Morrison Lane Syrah with extended barrel aging), it should be ready to go on release and dish out tons of pleasure over the following decade or more. The extended elevage has given this a more upfront feel, yet I suspect it will also allow it age more slowly as well.SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 31, 2016 Has presence, featuring a smoky edge to blueberry and black cherry flavors that spill around the stony notes on the finish. Comes together with intensity and harmony. Best from 2017 through 2022. 143 cases made.
VN9595 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 Made entirely from Phelps clone Syrah, the 2018 Syrah Powerline was aged for 24 months in 35% new French oak prior to bottling. It has a very Côte-Rôtie bull’s-blood character alongside iodine and volcanic ash on the nose. The palate is plush with a seamless texture and wonderful length. A very pretty core of dark fruits mingles with shades of creosote, Earl Grey tea and suggestions of orange zest. The flavor and aromatic range here are outstanding, and this brilliant wine isn’t going anywhere for another 10 years.JD9595 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021 Another Syrah from this site in Walla Walla, the dense purple/ruby 2018 Syrah Powerline Vineyard offers up a classic nose of spiced red and black fruits, cured meats, peppery herbs, lavender, and truffle. This carries to a rich, medium to full-bodied Syrah with terrific tannins as well as balance. It already offers considerable pleasure yet is going to have a solid 10–15 years of longevity. (Jeb Dunnuck)SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2022 A wine of presence and depth that opens to dark berry, licorice and smoky pepper flavors, which build detail and tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 1,055 cases made.
JD9797 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 5/6/2021 The 2018 Syrah The Beautiful Powerline Vineyard comes from a vineyard outside of Walla Walla, in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. It was not destemmed and was brought up in neutral, larger barrels. An exotic nose of ripe blue and black fruits, lavender, sappy flowers, and herbes de Provence-like nuances give way to a medium to full-bodied, richly textured, structured wine with a mouth-filling, layered, meaty style that builds nicely with time in the glass. There’s always a sappy, almost herbal edge to this beauty, and it ages beautifully. Feel free to open bottles any time over the coming 15–20 years. It would certainly be hard to pick out in a lineup of top Northern Rhône Syrahs. (Jeb Dunnuck)SP9595 pts. - Wine Spectator - Jun 30, 2022 A potent red, deeply structured yet dynamic, with blackberry, crushed stone, cured meat and black olive accents that gather richness and polish toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 1,128 cases made.VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 The 2018 Syrah The Beautiful is clone 470 with a touch of Viognier co-fermented, aged in 30% new French oak puncheons before bottling. The Viognier brings beautiful honeysuckle tones alongside crème de violette and suggestions of baking spices. The salinity here is outstanding as blackberry compote, black tea and exotic spices mingle with the seamless texture and gorgeous length. Enjoy this outstanding bottling over the next eight-plus years.
JS9595 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, June 1, 2020 This is a deep, richer palate with currants, flowers, white chocolate and some almonds. It’s full-bodied with plush tannins and a chewy finish. Yet, it’s so attractive and pretty. A blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 21% merlot, 11% cabernet franc, 9% petit verdot and 9% malbec. Needs more time. Try after 2022.JD9494 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 4/15/2020 Based on 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, the 2017 Perigee Estate Seven Hills Vineyard offers more classic cassis, tobacco, and sappy herbs as well as a solid sense of minerality. Full-bodied, concentrated, and beautifully balanced as well as elegant, give it 3–5 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following two decades or more. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020 Bright, saturated ruby-red. Blackberry, boysenberry, licorice and minerals on the nose, lifted by topnotes of Tellicherry pepper and violet. Very suave, silky and smooth, conveying enticing sweetness to its refined dark berry, spice and mineral flavors. Terrific energy and delineation here, and long and suave on the rising finish, where the dusty tannins are beautifully buffered by the wine’s material. A lovely showing, even if this very juicy wine is still a bit youthfully imploded. This may be the most floral of the current red wine releases from L’Ecole.RP92+92+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Oct 2020 The 2017 Perigee Seven Hills Vineyard Estate is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 9% each of Petit Verdot and Malbec. The nose opens to an expressive fruit core, highlighting juicy dark red fruit and spiced blackberry essence. Aromas of cinnamon-spiced dark cherries, sweet plums and a dusty minerality sway out of the glass with elements of an exotic floral bouquet. Full-bodied, the wine shows layers and a delineated, fresh frame with succulent tannins, offering a balanced structure across the mid-palate. The mouthfeel shows finesse with a purity of fruit before lingering with persistence, vibrancy and a subtle red spice reflection over the elongated finish. This is delicious juice.WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 8/1/2020 Cabernet Sauvignon makes up half of this wine, with the rest Merlot (21%), Cabernet Franc (11%), Petit Verdot (9%) and Malbec (9%). Brooding aromas of cherry, plum, mocha, graphite, cherry and herb lead to medium-bodied fruit flavors, backed by tart acidity and firm, grainy tannins. The structure is lovely. It needs some time to stretch its legs, with the tannins giving a bigger impression than they often do from this vineyard. Best after 2024.
