(Tim Fish)WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2022 Aromas of fresh peach and flower lead to stone-fruit flavors that are well balanced. The concentration is lighter than the aromas might suggest, though it’s lovely. (Sean P. Sullivan)WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 06/22 Chateau Ste. Michelle makes the best bang-for-buck riesling out there, period. This one leads with complex scents of celery and passion fruit, along with a candied peach note. It’s off-dry with a thrust of sweetness that’s broad and appealing.
SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Feb 28, 2023 Fresh and lively, with steely acidity that highlights pretty flavors of kiwifruit, lemon and nectarine, ending with a snappy finish. Drink now. 180,000 cases made. (Tim Fish)WE8888 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2022 The aromas are light, with notes of pink grapefruit, herb and whiffs of tropical fruit. The lighter styled pineapple, kiwi and banana flavors are pleasing and varietal, with enough acid around it all. (Sean P. Sullivan)

WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 Cabernet Sauvignon plus a small percentage of Merlot and Syrah adds up to a big “bang for the buck” experience. Black-cherry, dark-chocolate and orange aromas are flanked by wee bits of well-worn leather and roasted red bell pepper. The wine has grippy tannins and soft acidity to match up with gobs of blackcap-raspberry and blueberry flavors. Little touches of cedar and mocha powder add interest. (Michael Alberty)WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/22 Dark and woolly with black-cherry and tobacco flavors and modest wood notes, this is generous and complex for its price.
JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Monday, January 3, 2022 Pretty nose of lemons, sliced pears, white peaches, melon and apple blossom. It’s medium-bodied with a creamy, fruity and fresh palate. Gently off-dry. Drink now. Screw cap.SP8888 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 31, 2022 Lithe and delicate, with pretty kiwi, melon and grapefruit flavors that finish with a snap. Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sémillon, Muscat, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 20,000 cases made. (Tim Fish)
JD9595 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 7/9/2022 All Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Feather is a rich, powerful wine loaded with notions of cassis, graphite, scorched earth, and crushed stone. Full-bodied on the palate and concentrated, it has building tannins, a great mid-palate, and the balance and class to benefit from 4–5 years of bottle age and, I suspect, evolve for decades. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN9494 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2023 Dark and exotic in the glass, the 2019 Feather, a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, impresses with a burst of dusty rose and black raspberries lifted by a hint of fresh mint. This is supremely elegant, with silky textures and wild berry fruit underscored by saline-minerals and silty coating tannins forming toward the close. The Feather displays its heroic structure through the finale, tapering off with tremendous length, as notes of sweet tobacco and lavender slowly fade. While this is youthfully poised today, the 2019 will pay dividends in the cellar. (Eric Guido)SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Mar 31, 2023 Refined and keenly structured, with expressive blackberry, mocha and dusky spices that take on tension toward broad-shouldered tannins. Drink now through 2030. 3,840 cases made. (Tim Fish)
VN9292 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2019 Medium ruby-red. Aromas of blackcurrant, dark raspberry, espresso, bitter chocolate and graphite. Silky and plush but also vinous on entry, then densely packed, seamless and deep in the middle, with savory red and blacker fruit flavors complicated by subtle brown spices and minerals. Conveys excellent inner-mouth peppery lift and vinosity without coming across as green. This wine struck me as quite similar to its 2015 predecessor, suggesting that owner/winemaker Greg Harrington was especially successful in avoiding obvious signs of the very hot 2015 growing season. This savory, classically dry, energetic Cabernet Sauvignon finishes with firm, suave tannins and slowly mounting persistence.
RP93+93+ pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Oct 2020 Dark ruby with soft purple highlights, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has an impactful and precise nose of juicy plum, dark cherry and blackberry essence that waft with elegant French oak tones of vanilla, cinnamon and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the wine has a succulent mouthfeel with oak flavors that bind effortlessly to juicy, plump and dark blackberry essence with subtle flavors of dried herbs and bitter dark chocolate. With a long, drawn-out finish, the wine displays all of its complexities as it lingers on the palate with persistence and a tannic grip. This wine is about layers and texture. Give it a try! (Anthony Mueller)WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2020 Fresh herb and flower aromas are out front, followed by notes of spice and plum. The palate is layered and restrained, with plenty of acidity and tannic structure supporting it all. It’s far from a big bruiser, but this is serious Cabernet, with impeccable balance. (Sean P. Sullivan)VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Dec 2020 Full, dark red. Cool aromas of redcurrant, tobacco leaf, licorice, black pepper and menthol. Very suave and smooth on entry, then pure but reticent in the middle palate, conveying subtle salinity to the flavors of dark berries, soil, graphite and licorice. No easy sweetness here! This classically dry, Old World-style Cabernet is still a bit cool and laid-back but should evolve gracefully. Finishes with firm but fine-grained tannins and subtle savory grip. But not quite the depth for an even higher rating. (Stephen Tanzer)WS9191 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 12/20 For this wine, Greg Harrington and Brandon Moss blend fruit from sources such as Phinny Hill and Dionysus with grapes from their estate vineyards. All about structure at the moment, this is very firm with a tannic spine. It needs time to get beyond its initial notes of violets and sealing wax and reveal the dark fruit within. JD9595 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 4/15/2020 The 2017 Syrah Lagniappe comes all from the Red Willow Vineyard and was 10% destemmed and brought up in 10% new French oak. Deeper ruby/purple, with blackberry fruits interwoven with lots of ground pepper, gravelly earth, and iron-laced aromatics, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, ripe yet certainly present tannins, and a great finish. The balance here is spot on and it’s a classic, age-worthy Syrah from this estate. Give bottles 3–5 years and it’s going to evolve for over a decade. (Jeb Dunnuck)VN93+93+ pts. - Vinous - Dec 2019 Bright medium ruby; dark for a wine from this producer. Savory Old World perfume of crushed blackberry, licorice, peppery herbs and black olive. Densely packed, savory and fine-grained, with an impression of peppery vinosity lifting the middle palate. Superb intensity and flavor definition here, along with a subtle sweetness. The firm, rising back end shows strong black fruit and black olive flavors lifted by a soil-driven peppery element. This bottling stood out in 2016 for its intensity and light touch, and this 2017 is a worthy successor, finishing with resounding palate-staining length and grip. Ultimately, I’d have a hard time identifying this Syrah as a Washington wine owing to its sharp definition and light touch. (Stephen Tanzer)RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 22nd Oct 2020 The 2017 Syrah Lagniappe opens to a nose of dark fruit and undertones of spice along with a dusty mineral essence. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is shy on the palate, offering a spicy character that grows in amplitude and persistence as time goes on. The wine lingers with a spicy finish that leaves me wanting just a bit more fruit profile to push the score higher.WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2020 Coming from this esteemed site in Yakima Valley, aromas of stem, moist earth, smoked meat and black pepper are followed by tart, lip-smacking flavors that ramp up in intensity with time open. Grainy tannins back it up. It needs time to show its best. Drink after 2025. Pair it with grilled meat.WS9292 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 02/21 Gramercy’s Red Willow bottling is tense and savory, a remarkably cool expression of Columbia Valley fruit. It leads with scents of olive and pine tips, a bit of black plum and mocha which, with air, becomes more biting, like espresso. The flavors are savory, the fruit remaining in the background for now, with a firm texture that calls for something rich to offset, like pork roast.
VN9393 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2022 Gorgeous and ripe, the 2019 Grenache Third Man is a silky Grenache bottling that captivates the senses. Immediately gratifying on the nose, it shows off layers of ripe red currants alongside black tea, Asian spices, orange zest and cigar ash underpinnings. Beautifully textured, with great length and finesse, this outstanding bottling is already singing at the two-year mark. (Owen Bargreen)
VN9191 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2023 The 2019 Caberret Sauvignon wafts up with a pretty bouquet, showing rosy florals, hints of sage and crushed raspberries. It soothes the senses with the silkiest textures as a potent wave of red fruit washes across the palate, leaving a staining of primary concentration. An herbal flourish lasts through the finish as this tapers off lightly structured and with a peppery tinge. There’s a lot of balanced pleasure to be found within this Washington State Cabernet. Enjoy it over the coming three to five years. (Eric Guido)JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, April 12, 2023 This has a youthful and attractive nose of blackcurrants, mulberries, olives and anise. It’s full-bodied and textured, with firm yet ripe tannins and chewy black fruit. 90% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc and 5% malbec with extended maceration for about 9 months on skins. Drink now or hold.WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2022 The wine’s sweet aromas of cherry-flavored Dum-Dums, the mini-lollipop that rules Halloween, rhubarb jam and plumeria are a nice preview of the flavors to come. The creamy mouthfeel delivers all the ripe black cherries your palate can handle, along with earthy flavors of chopped raw walnuts and Dutch-process cocoa powder. (Michael Alberty)
JS9292 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Friday, April 22, 2022 Aromas of ripe black cherries, plums and baking spice. Full-bodied with soft tannins. Pleasantly rich, ripe fruit is complimented by nutmeg and clove. Good depth and concentration. Drink now.
VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Mar 2023 The 2021 Sémillon is sweetly scented, with dusty white flowers, vivid yellow apple and chamomile forming its bouquet. This is suave and opulent on the palate, yet perfectly balanced by brisk acidity, as a mix of ripe tropical fruits and florals cascade throughout. The 2021 finishes with remarkable length, both crisply refreshing and potent, with kiwi and mango notes that linger. I love the inner sweetness here, in spite of its zero grams of residual sugar. What a treat. (Eric Guido)SP8989 pts. - Wine Spectator - Web only – 2022 Fragrant and sleek, with delicate lemon custard, spice and jasmine flower accents that glide on a textured finish. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 4,500 cases made. (Tim Fish)
